Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. Lemon-lime carbonated beverage (like 7-up, or possibly sprite)
  • 1/4 c. Dry sherry
  • 1/4 c. Soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. White vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 2 lb Sirloin steak, cut into 1" cubes
  • 2 c. Cherry tomatoes
  • 2 med Carrots, cut into eighths
  • 1/2 lb Fresh mushroom caps
  • 2 med Size green peppers, cut into 1" pcs
  • 1 sm Pineapple, cut into 1" pcs

  1. Hi everyone!! It's summer (!) in the United States, so here's one of my favorite grill recipes. It comes from America's Best Recipes (Southern Living). Enjoy!
  2. Combine first 8 ingredients in a large shallow bowl. Add in beef cubes, cover and marinate in refrigerator 2 hrs, stirring occasionally. Remove beef cubes from marinade, reserving marinade. Alternately thread beef cubes, tomatoes, onions, mushroom caps, green pepper and pineapple onto skewers.
  3. Grill, covered, over medium-warm coals (350 degrees to 400 degrees) 10-12 min or possibly to desired degree of doneness, turning and basting occasionally with reserved marinade.
  4. Makes 4-5 servings.
