Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Sugar 250 mL
  • 1/3 c. Water 75 mL
  • 1/8 tsp Cream of tartar healthy pinch
  • 1/8 tsp Salt healthy pinch
  • 2 x Egg whites 2
  • 1 tsp Vanilla 5 mL

Direcciones

  1. In a medium saucepan combine sugar, water, cream of tartar and salt. Bring to a boil and boil without stirring till mix reaches 240F/116C (soft ball stage).
  2. Place egg whites in a bowl and beat, adding sugar syrup slowly while beating, till thick and fluffy.
  3. Stir in vanilla.
  4. NOTES :Makes about 2 c./500 mL of frosting.
