%20that%20had%20me%20slated%20for%203miles%20this%20morning.%20%20The%20husband%20and%20I%20ran%20a%20nice%20loop%20around%20our%20neighborhood,%203miles%20and%2030minutes.%20%20Since%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20have%20a%20Garmin%20I%20can%E2%80%99t%20really%20track%20my%20pacing,%20but%20I%20use%20MapMyRun%20as%20best%20I%20can.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20we%20got%20home%20I%20had%20to%20run%20through%20my%20shower%20since%20Katie%20was%20picking%20me%20up%20for%20a%20brunch%20date%20at%20Betty%E2%80%99s.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%E2%80%99d%20never%20been%20before%20but%20I%E2%80%99ll%20definitely%20be%20going%20back%20to%20Betty%E2%80%99s%20soon,%20the%20place%20was%20adorable%20and%20the%20food%20was%20delicious!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20ordered%20off%20the%20specials%20menu,%20the%20Portobello%20Benedict%20-%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHashbrowns,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Efruit,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20two%20English%20muffins%20topped%20with%20roasted%20Portobello%20mushroom,%20spinach,%20two%20poached%20eggs,%20and%20smoked%20gouda.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMmmmmmn!%20%20It%20shouldn%E2%80%99t%20be%20called%20a%20Benedict%20without%20Hollandaise%20(I%20would%20have%20gotten%20it%20on%20the%20side%20though%20so%20I%20probably%20shouldn%E2%80%99t%20quibble..)%20but%20this%20meal%20was%20not%20lacking%20for%20flavor.%20%20The%20egg%20yolks%20melted%20perfectly%20into%20the%20bread%20and%20it%20was%20great%20to%20get%20some%20veggies%20into%20my%20morning.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EKatie%20was%20kind%20enough%20to%20drive%20me%20back%20to%20school%20and%20I%20snagged%20a%20%E2%80%9Cmocha%E2%80%9D%20(half%20coffee,%20half%20hot%20chocolate)%20along%20the%20way.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20don%E2%80%99t%20have%20classes%20on%20Tuesday%20but%20I%20was%20headed%20to%20an%20Anthropology-sponsored%20speaker%20on%20the%20topic%20of%20primates.%20%20Ever%20since%20I%20attended%20the%20Body%20Farm%20lecture%20(love!)%20my%20name%20has%20been%20on%20an%20e-mail%20list%20and%20when%20I%20saw%20%E2%80%9Clive%20primates%20in%20attendance%E2%80%9D%20I%20jumped%20on%20the%20opportunity!%20%20I%20recruited%20a%20few%20friends%20to%20come%20with%20me%20and%20we%20all%20had%20a%20ton%20of%20fun%20-%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhere%20else%20can%20you%20see%20a%20man%20diaper%20a%20monkey?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%E2%80%99ve%20been%20putting%20grocery%20shopping%20off%20and%20are%20running%20out%20of%20food%20so%20Adam%20picked%20me%20up%20from%20the%20lecture%20for%20a%20trip%20to%20Wegmans.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20had%20to%20show%20off%20my%20primate%20pictures%20so%20we%20had%20to%20get%20hot%20bar%20for%20lunch.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETons%20of%20grilled/steamed%20veggies%20with%20a%20little%20bit%20of%20sesame%20chicken,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ewith%20fruit%20for%20dessert.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETastes%20like%20summer,%20the%20mango%20was%20definitely%20swoon-worthy!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20we%20were%20out,%20I%20cashed%20in%20a%20coupon%20from%20the%20Foodbuzz%20Tastemakers%E2%80%99%20Program%20for%20some%20Magnum%20Ice%20Cream.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20grabbed%20a%20box%20of%20Double%20Caramel%20Bars.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20am%20so%20glad%20that%20I%20was%20given%20the%20opportunity%20to%20taste%20this%20for%20free%20because%20it%E2%80%99s%20not%20it%E2%80%99s%20not%20a%20product%20I%20would%20have%20bought%20on%20my%20own%20and%20now%20I%20might%20be%20obsessed!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHoly%20double%20layer%20of%20chocolate,%20Batman;%20this%20was%20good!%20%20It%E2%80%99s%20(surprisingly%20good%20for%20vanilla)%20vanilla%20ice%20cream,%20wrapped%20in%20chocolate,%20wrapped%20in%20caramel,%20wrapped%20in%20a%20second%20chocolate%20shell.%20%20The%20premise%20reminds%20me%20of%20this%20SNL%20skit,%20but%20the%20execution%20was%20perfection!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ehttp://www.hulu.com/embed/umxmTijZLcnMhDPJjmYd5g%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20also%20snacked%20on%20baby%20carrots%20with%20blue%20cheese,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20shared%20a%20few%20tastes%20of%20the%20husband%E2%80%99s%20new%20fancy%20cheese.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDinner%20was%20a%20Cooking%20Light%20find,%20Quick%20White%20Bean,%20Asparagus%20and%20Mushroom%20Cassoulet.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPer%20usual,%20my%20changes%20included%20-%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eputting%20the%20cassoulet%20into%20the%20oven%20instead%20of%20the%20broiler%20(I%20don%E2%80%99t%20have%20a%20single%20broiler%20safe%20vessel!)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEven%20with%20my%20changes%20it%20was%20still%20pretty%20delicious%20though.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20ate%20my%20serving%20with%20some%20chips%20for%20scooping%20purposes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDelicious.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOk,%20this%20has%20been%20a%20very%20long%20post,%20time%20to%20wrap%20things%20up.%20%20Hope%20everyone%20had%20a%20good%20day!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
