Meat Mushroom Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 1 pound pork sausage meat
  • 4 very lg. onions, minced
  • 4-6 lg. garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3/4 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced thin
  • 1 fifth (4/5 quart.) dry red table wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 2 pound grnd round
  • 3 cans (15 ounce.) tomato sauce
  • 1 c. minced parsley
  • 2 teaspoon salt (about)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon crumbled rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse grnd pepper

Direcciones

  1. Brown sausage; add in grnd round. Add in onions and saute/fry till limp. Add in garlic, parsley and mushrooms; stir to cover with meat drippings. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover loosely and simmer (stir occasionally) for 3 hrs or possibly till reduced to thick sauce consistency.
