Ingredientes

  • 1 pound very lean grnd beef
  • 1 teaspoon Accent (optional)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 T instant chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 T all purpose flour
  • 2 T butter
  • 3 T molasses
  • 3 T prepared mustard
  • 3 T vinegar
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • Wooden toothpicks

Direcciones

  1. In a mixing bowl, blend meat with Accent, salt, pepper and chopped onion. Use a light hand. Put together bread and lowfat milk. Add in to meat. Toss lightly till well combined. Form into 3/4 inch ball. Roll in flour. Heat butter in large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add in meatballs and brown. Put together remaining ingredients. Add in to meatballs. Simmer over low heat about 10 min, or possibly till sauce thickens, stirring occasionally. Serve hot in a chafing dish with toothpicks. Makes about 50 meatballs.
