- Beat large eggs; fold in bread crumbs, half & half, salt, allspice, dash of pepper, and 1/2 onion; then lightly mix into grnd beef. Shape into meatballs. Bake 500 degrees oven for 10 min till browned. Then transfer meatballs to a casserole dish. In saucepan, saute onion in butter till golden brown. Fold in sliced mushrooms, crushed garlic, and flour. Cook till bubbly. Stir in wine and beef concentrate till thickened. Pour sauce over meatballs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 min.
