Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. ,Water
  • 1/4 c. Sweet dessert wine*
  • 2 Tbsp. Orange juice
  • 1/4 c. Fresh or possibly dry lavender flowers
  • 1 lrg Ripe melon, cubed Fresh mint leaves

Direcciones

  1. Sauterne, Grenache or possibly sweet Reisling.
  2. Bring sugar, water, wine and orange juice to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 5 min, stirring once or possibly twice to dissolve sugar. Add in lavender flowers. Cover and steep for 1 to 2 hrs. Strain out lavender flowers, pressing on pulp.
  3. To serve, pour syrup over melon; gently toss. Garnish with mint leaves.
  4. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
