Ingredientes

  • 4 lrg potatoes
  • 1 lrg onion
  • 1 x jalapeno, seeded and minced
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/4 tsp garlic
  • 1 x (14 ounce.) can chicken stock and 1 can water
  • 1 can diced tomatoes or possibly Rotel tomatoes and omit jalapeno
  • 1 head of cabbage Salt and pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Wash and cut up potatoes into large bite size cubes ..Coarsely chop onion.
  2. Saute/fry onion, potatoes and jalapeno in small amount of oil with garlic till potatoes begin to soften. Transfer to a large pot or possibly Dutch oven. Add in chicken stock, water, tomatoes and coarsely minced cabbage. Cook till cabbage is tender. Add in salt and black pepper to taste.
