Mexican Fried Rice

Ingredientes

  • 3 Tbsp. Veg. oil
  • 1 c. Rice,long grain brown
  • 8 ounce Shrimp,popcorn
  • 1 c. Chili salsa
  • 1/2 c. Green pepper, diced
  • 1 sm Onion, minced
  • 1 clv garlic, chopped
  • 2 c. Water

Direcciones

  1. In a 12" skillet, heat oil. Add in rice; cook till golden, stirring frequently. Stir in remaining ingredients and 2 c. water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 to 20 min or possibly till rice is tender. Season to taste: serve additional salsa if you like.
  2. NOTE: I do not care for the shrimp in this recipe and it is wonderful without. But feel free- this is one of those "add in whatever you want" recipes.*
