Ingredientes

  • 1 1/4 c. Bisquick
  • 3/4 c. mayonnaise or possibly salad dressing
  • 1 egg
  • 2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese (8 ounce)
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 1 T chili pwdr
  • 1 (4 ounce) can green chilies, liquid removed & minced
  • 1/2 pound loaf French bread, cut lengthwise into halves

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix all ingredients except bread. Spread about 1 1/2 cups mix evenly on cut sides of French bread. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet till puffy and golden, 10 to 15 min. Cut each half French bread crosswise into thirds. Serve immediately. Makes 6 open-faced sandwiches.
