Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can tomatoes, minced
  • 1 (6 ounce.) can tomato paste
  • 1/4 c. finely minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 c. minced celery
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 2/3 c. long grain white rice

Direcciones

  1. In 2-qt microproof casserole, combine all ingredients except rice. Cook, covered, on high (maximum power) 5 min, or possibly till boiling. Stir in rice. Cook, covered, on 50 (simmer) 30 to 35 min, or possibly till rice is tender. Let stand, covered, 5 min before serving. 6 to 8 servings.
