Midwest Creamy Corn & Potato Chowder

Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1 c. celery, minced
  • 1 lg. carrot, shredded
  • 1/2 c. finely crushed potato chips
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 can (13 1/2 ounce.) chicken broth Or possibly equal amount of broth made with McKay's
  • chicken seasoning
  • 1 can (12 ounce.) corn, liquid removed
  • 2 c. (1 pt.) Half & Half
  • Salt & pepper
  • 3 potatoes, sliced & boiled

Direcciones

  1. In a large saucepan, heat butter and saute/fry onion, celery and carrot till soft, about 5 min. Stir in chips and flour. Gradually stir in broth, corn and Half & Half. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in salt and pepper to taste.
