Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine melted
  • 3 pt chocolate ice cream slightly softened
  • 3/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
  • 3 x toffee bars-chocolate covere coarsely minced * store-bought caramel sauce optional

  1. About 3/4ths of a 12 1/2 oz package. 1. In a food processor or possibly blender, process cookies to fine crumbs; you should have about 2-1/2 c.. Transfer crumbs to 9-inch pie plate; using fork, stir in melted margarine to mix well. Press mix proportionately over bottom and up sides of plate; place in freezer 30 min. 2. In large bowl with electric mixer at low speed, beat ice-cream 20 seconds till smooth but still hard, not melted. Add in peanut butter and minced toffee bars; beat just till blended. Spoon mix into prepared crust, swirling top decoratively. Freeze at least 4 hrs till hard. 3.For easier cutting, remove pie from freezer 10 min before serving; serve accompanied, if you like, by caramel sauce.
  2. Makes 10 servings.
  3. Note: To coarsely choptoffee bars, place in freezer 20 min. Use sharp, heavy knife to cut bars into small pcs, to make about 3/4 c..
