Ingredientes

  • 3 ounce Cream cheese -- softened
  • 1/4 c. Margarine -- softened
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 2/3 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/3 c. Minced nuts
  • 1 x Unsweetened baking chocolate
  •     Squares -- melted and
  •     Cooled
  • 1/2 tsp Peppermint extract
  •     Green food coloring
  • 1 x Unsweetened baking chocolate
  •     Squares
  • 1 Tbsp. Margarine
  • 1 c. Powdered sugar -- sifted
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp. Boiling water
  •     Chocolate Glaze-----

  1. Cream together cream cheese, butter, and sugar; beat in Large eggs. Stir together flour, baking pwdr, and salt; stir into creamed mix. Spoon half of the batter into another bowl; stir in nuts and chocolate. Drop chocolate batter from Tbsp. checkerboard fashion into greased 9x9x2-inch baking pan. To remaining batter, stir in extract and food coloring. Spoon green batter into open spaces in baking pan. Swirl with spatula to marble; don't overmix. Bake at 350 F for 15 to 20 min.
  2. Cold; pour Chocolate Glaze over top. Cut into bars. Chocolate Glaze: Heat one 1-oz square unsweetened chocolate and 1 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine over low heat; stir constantly. Remove from heat; stir in 1 c. sifted powdered sugar and 1/2 tsp. vanilla until crumbly. Blend in sufficient boiling water (about 2 Tbsp.) until of pouring consistency.
