Ingredientes

  • 1 pkt Lime flavored gelatin, (3 ounce.)
  • 1 dsh Salt
  • 1 c. Boiling water
  • 1/4 tsp Mint extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp Vinegar
  • 3/4 c. Cool water
  • 2 x Fresh Bosc or possibly Anjou pears, (2 to 3)
  • 1/2 c. Cottage cheese
  • 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1/4 c. Minced walnuts

Direcciones

  1. Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water. Stir in mint extract, vinegar and cool water. Refrigeratetill very thick. Core and chop pears to measure 1-1/2 c.. Fold pears into gelatin. Pour into oiled 1-qt ring mold.
  2. Refrigeratetill hard. Unmold. Serve with Cottage Cheese Dressing.
  3. Cottage Cheese Dressing: Beat cottage cheese with lowfat milk till smooth. Add in remaining ingredients and beat well.
  4. Makes 3/4 c..
  5. Always be sure to use ripe pears.
