Receta Minted Pear Salad With Cottage Cheese Dressing

Ingredientes
- 1 pkt Lime flavored gelatin, (3 ounce.)
- 1 dsh Salt
- 1 c. Boiling water
- 1/4 tsp Mint extract
- 1Â 1/2 tsp Vinegar
- 3/4 c. Cool water
- 2 x Fresh Bosc or possibly Anjou pears, (2 to 3)
- 1/2 c. Cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
- 1/4 c. Minced walnuts
Direcciones
- Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water. Stir in mint extract, vinegar and cool water. Refrigeratetill very thick. Core and chop pears to measure 1-1/2 c.. Fold pears into gelatin. Pour into oiled 1-qt ring mold.
- Refrigeratetill hard. Unmold. Serve with Cottage Cheese Dressing.
- Cottage Cheese Dressing: Beat cottage cheese with lowfat milk till smooth. Add in remaining ingredients and beat well.
- Makes 3/4 c..
- Always be sure to use ripe pears.
