- In a medium-sized saucepan, combine sugar, syrup, butter and 1 c. of cream. Bring to a boil. While boiling, add in second c. of cream. Cook to soft ball stage. Beat by hand for 3 min. Add in pecans. Pour onto a buttered platter. Cut when cold.
- Yield: 2-1/2 pounds.
