- Peel, core and grate the apples. Hull the berries. Weigh the prepared fruit and for every lb. of fruit, measure 1 1/2 c. of sugar.
- Place the fruit and sugar in a large, wide saucepan over medium heat. Stir gently till the sugar dissolves, add in the lemon juice, then bring the mix to a boil over high heat and cook till setting point is reached, about 40 to 60 min.
- Ladle the jam into warmed, sterilized jars and seal.
