,%20to%20get%20that%20incredible,%20creamy%20protein-matrix%20foam.%20Don't%20worry%20about%20the%20raw%20egg%20part%20--%20the%20alcohol%20and%20the%20vigorous%20agitation%20essentially%20denatures%20it,%20plus%20for%20this%20delivery,%20they%20included%20powdered%20egg%20white,%20which%20is%20pasteurized%20and%20quite%20handy.%20This%20was%20an%20easy%20drink%20to%20split,%20so%20I%20mixed%20it%20twice,%20first%20with%20a%20fresh%20separated%20egg%20white,%20and%20one%20with%20the%20powdered%20stuff%20they%20provided.%20I%20probably%20didn't%20shake%20it%20long%20enough,%20as%20the%20first%20Clover%20Club's%20frothy%20foam%20was%20rather%20lackluster%20(see%20top%20photo%20-%20sadhorns).%20The%20drink%20was%20marvelous,%20the%20presentation,%20less-so.%20On%20my%20second%20mixing,%20I%20tried%20the%20powdered%20stuff,%20which%20you%20hydrate%20a%20little%20before%20using,%20and%20I%20just%20shook%20the%20hell%20out%20of%20that%20cocktail%20shaker,%20and%20got%20a%20really%20nice,%20tall%20froth.%20Is%20the%20powdered%20stuff%20better%20than%20fresh%20eggwhite?%20Likely%20not,%20as%20most%20skilled%20bartenders%20only%20work%20with%20fresh%20egg%20whites,%20and%20their%20drinks%20turn%20out%20like%20rockstars.%20It's%20likely%20a%20case%20of,%20whatever%20the%20recommended%20time%20of%20shaking%20your%20egg%20white%20cocktail%20is,%20double%20it,%20especially%20if%20you%20have%20short,%20stubby%20t-rex%20arms%20like%20me.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECelebrating%20cocktail-thirty%20every%20month!%20-%20Photos%20by%20Wasabi%20Prime%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe're%20very%20Scroogey%20with%20our%20Julibox%20drinks%20in%20that%20we%20take%20our%20time%20enjoying%20each%20cocktail.%20The%20June%20Punch%20Drunk%20Collection%20had%20mini%20bottles%20galore,%20and%20I%20thoroughly%20enjoyed%20the%20Sangria%20Parisienne.%20That%20had%20a%20combination%20of%20Grey%20Goose%20L'Orange%20vodka,%20Esprit%20de%20June%20(a%20curious%20liqueur%20made%20from%20the%20flowers%20of%20different%20grape%20varietals%20that%20only%20bloom%20in%20June%20-%20neat,%20right?),%20and%20Woodbridge%20Sauvignon%20Blanc,%20along%20with%20slices%20of%20fresh%20orange%20and%20lemon,%20and%20sugar%20to%20taste.%20Sangria%20taken%20to%20a%20fine%20cocktail%20level%20--%20and%20easy%20to%20size%20up;%20Julibox%20was%20kind%20to%20include%20pitcher-sized%20recipes%20for%20this,%20along%20with%20their%20Honey%20Bee%20Lemonade.%20That%20uses%20Wild%20Turkey%20American%20Honey%20Liqueur,%20Caravella%20Limoncello,%20fresh%20lemon%20and%20sugar%20--%20it%20sounds%20good,%20doesn't%20it?%20As%20of%20the%20writing%20of%20this%20blog%20post,%20we%20have%20yet%20to%20make%20it,%20but%20I'm%20sure%20it'll%20be%20summertime-perfect.%20Like%20I%20said,%20we're%20Scroogey%20with%20mixing%20these%20drinks%20because%20I%20know%20they're%20designed%20by%20amazing%20bartenders%20from%20all%20%20over%20the%20country.%20I%20don't%20want%20to%20just%20guzzle%20these%20things%20down%20without%20appreciating%20every%20bit%20of%20it,%20from%20the%20process%20to%20the%20imbibing,%20especially%20if%20I%20plan%20on%20making%20them%20again.%20Think%20of%20Julibox%20collections%20as%20tasting%20boxes,%20giving%20you%20a%20chance%20to%20sample%20different%20spirits%20and%20mixers,%20without%20the%20fear%20of%20committing%20to%20a%20giant%20bottle%20of%20something.%20I%20have%20a%20giant%20bottle%20of%20Bakon%20Vodka%20staring%20at%20me%20every%20day.%20I%20don't%20regret%20buying%20it,%20but%20it's%20a%20reminder%20that%20I%20need%20to%20make%20a%20lot%20of%20Bloody%20Marys%20soon.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20a%20totally%20honest%20review%20of%20Julibox,%20no%20freebies%20or%20anything%20was%20involved%20--%20I%20needed%20a%20birthday%20gift%20for%20Brock,%20so%20I%20hit%20the%20Bowling%20Ball%20Named%20Homer%20button%20and%20thought%20he'd%20appreciate%20Fancy%20Cocktail%20Night%20more%20often%20at%20home.%20And%20we've%20been%20really%20pleased%20so%20far!%20We%20just%20got%20the%20cachaca-filled%20Latin%20Lovefest%20Collection,%20which%20is%20for%20July,%20but%20we%20probably%20won't%20enjoy%20it%20until%20August.%20That's%20fine,%20because%20it's%20good%20to%20be%20a%20month%20behind%20on%20something%20worth%20savoring.%20Cheers,%20everybody!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
