Ingredientes

  • 1 x 9" pie shell
  • 1 1/2 c. Flour
  • 1/2 c. Shortening
  • 4 Tbsp. Cool water, (up to 5)
  • 5 c. Peeled and cubed Rambo or possibly Granny Smith apples, (up to 6)
  • 5 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. Flour
  • 1/3 c. Sugar
  • 6 Tbsp. Margarine

Direcciones

  1. Blend flour and shortening with dough blender till crumbly. Add in water and mix just till a ball of dough is formed. Don't overwork dough. Place on floured surface and roll. Place in 9" pie plate and flute edges.
  2. FILLING: Apples should be cut into pcs approximately 1"x1". Place apples in a plastic bag. Add in sugar and cinnamon. Seal bag and shake till all pcs are coated. Pour into pie shell.
  3. CRUMBS: Blend all ingredients till crumbly and pour proportionately over apples.
  4. Bake at 375 for 45-55 min.
  5. Serves 6-8.
