Mostaccioli Broccoli Bake

Ingredientes

  • 2 3/4 c. mostaccioli or possibly penne macaroni
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. grated fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 1/8 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 c. cooked, liquid removed (cut up) broccoli
  • 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese

Direcciones

  1. Cook mostaccioli according to package directions. Drain. Rinse with cool water.
  2. In medium saucepan, heat butter. Stir in flour till blended.
  3. Add in lowfat milk. Cook till thickened, stirring constantly.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, garlic pwdr, thyme and nutmeg. Remove from heat.
  5. In large bowl, combine mostaccioli, cheese sauce and broccoli.
  6. Spoon into 12x9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle Swiss cheese over top.
  7. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 10 to 15 min till thoroughly heated. Makes 12 accompaniment servings.
