Ingredientes

  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • For the Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • Simple Sugar:
  • ½ cup Black Raspberry Sparkling Ice
  • ½ cup sugar

Direcciones

  1. Combine the Blackberry Ice drink with the sugar and bring to a boil while gently stirring.
  2. Turn the heat off and let the mixture sit for approximately 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat Oven 375 degrees:
  4. Combine all of the dry ingredients in a bowl.
  5. Combine the eggs, vanilla, milk and vegetable oil and gently beat with a fork, until the eggs are incorporated.
  6. Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients while stirring.
  7. Butter the muffin tins. Fill the tins with the batter half-way. Top each muffin with the cinnamon sugar.
  8. Bake 20 - 25 minutes or until the toothpick test comes out clean.
  9. Serve the muffins with cream cheese or butter and drizzle the syrup over the muffin.
