Ingredientes

  • 5 Tbsp. butter divided
  • 1/2 lb mushrooms coarsely minced
  • 1/2 c. finely crushed soda crackers (about 16)
  • 3/4 c. minced green onions
  • 2 c. shredded Jack cheese
  • 1 c. cottage cheese
  • 3 x Large eggs
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika

Direcciones

  1. Heat 3 Tbsp. butter in skillet over medium heat. Saute/fry minced mushrooms till tender. Remove pan from heat. Stir in cracker crumbs. Press mix into bottom and sides of greased 9-inch pie plate.
  2. Heat remaining 2 Tbsp. butter in skillet and saute/fry green onions quickly. Spread over crust. Sprinkle with Jack cheese.
  3. In blender, combine cottage cheese, Large eggs and cayenne pepper. Blend well. Turn into mushroom crust. Sprinkle with paprika.
  4. Bake 350 degrees 35 to 40 min, or possibly till done. Let stand about 10 min before serving. Makes 6-8 servings.
