Mussels Pasta With Fennel And Vodka

Ingredientes

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 sm red onion, minced
  • 1/2 c. fennel, sliced
  • 1 lb mussel
  • 2 Tbsp. vodka
  • 1/4 c. fresh basil, minced
  • 1 c. whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 c. capers
  • 3 c. penne pasta, cooked
  • 1/2 c. parsley, minced, for garnish
  •     lemon, wedges, for garnish

Direcciones

  1. Heat butter and saute/fry the red onion and fennel for about 2 min.
  2. Add in the mussels and continue to saute/fry another 2 to 3 min.
  3. Add in the vodka and let simmer for 1 minute.
  4. Add in the basil, cream, salt, pepper and capers.
  5. Let simmer about 2 min and add in to cooked pasta.
  6. Mix well and garnish with parsley and lemon wedges.
