.%20It%20lasted%20about%20a%20month%20until%20I%20finally%20admitted%20I%20had%20no%20time%20or%20idea%20what%20I%20was%20doing.%20My%20schedule%20was%20overflowing%20and%20something%20needed%20to%20go.%20Not%20the%20job,%20that%20brought%20in%20money%20to%20cook%20all%20these%20fantastic%20foods.%20Or%20the%20Master%E2%80%99s%20degree,%20that%20was%20my%20escape%20from%20the%20real%20world%20and%20something%20I%20really%20enjoyed.%20And%20my%20husband?%20Well%20he%E2%80%99s%20pretty%20fun%20to%20keep%20around.%20So%20the%20blog%20became%20a%20casualty%20that%20I%20vowed%20to%20pick%20up%20once%20my%20life%20became%20a%20little%20less%20hectic.%20Last%20May%20I%20finished%20my%20Master%E2%80%99s%20degree%20(yay%20me!)%20and%20suddenly%20had%20a%20ton%20of%20extra%20time.%20It%20was%20time%20to%20blog%20again.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20time%20I%20was%20more%20focused%20and%20had%20a%20vision.%20I%20realized%20it%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20good%20enough%20(cruel%20in%20fact)%20to%20talk%20about%20local%20food%20and%20what%20I%20was%20cooking,%20I%20needed%20to%20share%20the%20ingredients%20and%20steps%20of%20my%20cooking.%20My%20first%20hurdle.%20I%E2%80%99ve%20never%20been%20the%20measuring%20type.%20A%20heap%20of%20this,%20a%20sprinkle%20of%20that%E2%80%93that%E2%80%99s%20how%20I%E2%80%99ve%20always%20cooked.%20So%20I%20learned%20to%20measure%20things%20to%20make%20my%20recipes%20became%20replicable.%20I%E2%80%99ve%20discovered%20this%20is%20a%20bonus%20for%20me%20too.%20I%20no%20longer%20wonder%20why%20my%20corn%20chowder%20tastes%20drastically%20different%20each%20time%20I%20make%20it.%20I%20simply%20reference%20my%20blog%20for%20the%20exact%20recipe.%20I%20might%20still%20edit%20here%20and%20there,%20but%20always%20for%20the%20better.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhat%E2%80%99s%20to%20come%20in%20the%20next%20year?%20Who%20knows!%20I%20have%20no%20intention%20to%20stop%20eating%20or%20cooking,%20I%20can%20promise%20you%20that.%20I%E2%80%99d%20like%20to%20bring%20more%20adventure%20into%20my%20cooking%E2%80%93local%20ingredients%20I%E2%80%99ve%20never%20used,%20new%20preparations%20and%20certainly%20more%20foraging.%20Plus%20I%20want%20to%20keep%20improving%20my%20photography%20skills,both%20taking%20and%20processing.%20I%E2%80%99m%20still%20working%20with%20my%20iPhone%205,%20which%20while%20pretty%20fantastic,%20doesn%E2%80%99t%20compare%20to%20a%20real%20camera.%20One%20day%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThanks%20for%20reading%20and%20here%E2%80%99s%20to%20another%20year%20of%20great%20food%20and%20local%20living!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHappy%20Eating!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
