Nana's Choc Chip Cookies

Ingredientes

  • 4 ounce Butter or possibly margarine
  • 1/2 c. Brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c. Caster sugar
  • 1 x Egg
  • 1/2 c. Minced nuts (we use pecans)
  • 4 ounce Dark chocolate, minced, or possibly dark chocolate bits
  • 1 tsp Vanilla (vanilla essence)
  • 3/4 c. Plain flour
  • 1/2 c. Self-raising flour

Direcciones

  1. Cream butter and sugars till light and fluffy.
  2. Add in the egg, nuts, chocolate and vanilla Mix well
  3. Gradually add in sifted flours, mix thoroughly
  4. Roll teaspoonsfull of mix into balls. Place on greased oven trays. (I actually use baking paper, as the biscuits do not stick, but it makes less mess! :-)) (Do not flatten the mix onto the trays - leave them as balls).
  5. Allow room for spreading of cookies.
  6. Bake in moderate oven (180 C) for 15 min.
