New England Yam Bake

Ingredientes

  •     from Princess Yams label
  • 1 x (20-ounce.) can pineapple slices
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 x (17-ounce.) cans yams, liquid removed
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. minced nuts
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 c. miniature marshmallows (or possibly 10 regular marshmallows)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Direcciones

  1. Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 c. syrup. Line sides of 10 x 6 inch baking dish with pineapple, slightly overlapping; arrange yams in center. Pour pineapple syrup over yams. Combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Cut in butter or possibly margarine till mix resembles coarse crumbs; stir in nuts. Sprinkle over yams. Bake at 350 deg. for 25 min. Top with marshmallows. Broil till lightly browned. 6 to 8 servings.
