Receta New England Yam Bake

Ingredientes

- 1 x (20-ounce.) can pineapple slices
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 x (17-ounce.) cans yams, liquid removed
- 3 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. minced nuts
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 c. miniature marshmallows (or possibly 10 regular marshmallows)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Direcciones
- Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 c. syrup. Line sides of 10 x 6 inch baking dish with pineapple, slightly overlapping; arrange yams in center. Pour pineapple syrup over yams. Combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt. Cut in butter or possibly margarine till mix resembles coarse crumbs; stir in nuts. Sprinkle over yams. Bake at 350 deg. for 25 min. Top with marshmallows. Broil till lightly browned. 6 to 8 servings.
