New Orleans Bread Pudding With Rumsauce

Ingredientes

  • 1 loaf French bread, torn into chunks
  • 1 quart. lowfat milk
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 T vanilla
  • 3 egg
  • 1 c. peeled, diced apples
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 3 T melted butter
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • Rum, takes about 3 T

Direcciones

  1. Soak bread in lowfat milk 30 min. Mix sugar, vanilla, large eggs and apples. Put together with bread chunks. Spread melted butter on bottom of 13x9x2 pan. Add in bread mix. Bake at 350 degrees, 30-35 min, till bubbly and hot.
  2. Cream butter and sugar. Add in vanilla. Slowly stir in 1 egg then add in rum. Heat and stir about 5 min. Serve warm over individual servings. 8-10 servings.
