%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBefore%20I%20forget,%20the%20old%20freezer%20is%20finally%20empty,%20unplugged,%20and%20off%20the%20grid!%20I%20hope%20that%20shows%20up%20as%20savings%20on%20our%20electric%20bill.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToday%20was%20a%20baking%20day.%20I%20made%20two%20loaves%20of%20whole%20grain%20bread%20and%20a%20little%20pan%20of%20low%20fat%20brownies.%20I%20also%20made%20a%20pot%20of%20soup%20for%20Friday.%20It's%20so%20pretty,%20like%20a%20vegetable%20soup%20rainbow.%20Little%20Bit%20and%20I%20worked%20on%20sorting%20out%20all%20her%20toys%20today,%20but%20right%20now,%20we're%20in%20the%20'it%20gets%20worse%20before%20it%20gets%20better'%20stage.%20We're%20making%20progress,%20though.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe're%20seeing%20some%20wee%20seedlings%20in%20the%20greenhouse%20-%20endive%20is%20up,%20and%20maybe%20some%20other%20lettuces%20(or%20maybe%20some%20weeds).%20Bo,%20our%20neighbor%20dog%20came%20to%20visit%20today,%20and%20so%20did%20a%20good%20friend%20of%20mine.%20It's%20nice%20to%20have%20company,%20even%20though%20the%20house%20was%20a%20mess.%20Good%20friends%20understand%20that%20sort%20of%20thing.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20made%20quite%20a%20few%20phone%20calls%20today,%20and%20got%20to%20talk%20for%20a%20while%20with%20my%20mama%20(who%20called%20me).%20I%20learned%20a%20few%20things%20about%20the%20local%20building%20code%20as%20far%20as%20garages%20are%20concerned,%20and%20I%20found%20out%20that%20the%20price%20of%20chicken/duck%20feed%20is%20about%20the%20same%20as%20last%20time%20I%20went.%20It's%20not%20quite%20time%20to%20go%20for%20more,%20but%20it%20will%20be%20soon.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20cut%20my%20hair,%20and%20it%20looks%20much%20better%20than%20it%20has%20of%20late.%20I%20got%20the%20house%20cleaned%20too,%20and%20we%20got%2011%20eggs%20from%20the%20chickens%20and%202%20from%20the%20ducks.%20All%20in%20all,%20it%20was%20a%20good,%20busy%20day.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHow%20was%20your%20day?%20What%20did%20you%20do?%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
