Ingredientes

  • 4 ounce Egg noodles, wide --
  •     Uncooked
  • 1 c. Cottage cheese -- low fat
  • 1 lb Lean beef round -- trimmed
  •     Of
  •     Fat -- grnd
  • 28 ounce Can tomatoes, undrained --
  •     Well
  •     Broken up
  • 6 ounce Can tomato paste
  • 1 x Onion -- minced
  • 10 ml Garlic, chopped -- or possibly 1/8 t
  •     Garlic pwdr
  • 2 tsp Dry oregano
  •     Salt & pepper -- to taste
  • 1 c. Shredded -- part skim pizza
  •     Cheese--about 4 ounce
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese -- grated

Direcciones

  1. Cook noodles according to pkg directions. Rinse under cool water; drain.
  2. Combine with cottage cheese. Spray nonstick skillet with cooking spray.
  3. Brown meat in skillet; pour off fat. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, onion, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper. Simmer, covered, about 1 1/2 hrs, stirring occasionally. Pour 1/3 of the sauce into casserole; top with half the noodle mix, then half the pizza cheese. Repeat layers; top with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan. Bake in preheated 325 oven one hour.
