As you may know by now I'm a happy member of the Secret Recipe Club, and get to participate every month, showcasing a recipe from another blog. At the bottom of the monthly post are pictures of the other featured recipes for that reveal date.
Now that I've explained all that, I happened to look at this recipe BLT Salad with homemade dressing and from there I ended up at this post Grandma Loy's Kitchen.
I wanted to make something fun for the weekly gathering I attend with a bunch of ladies on Friday Nights, and found a link to Grandma Loy's Kitchen. Somehow I managed to find this recipe and I thought it would be not only fun, but perfect to take with me. So I did.

%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20start%20with,%20heat%20up%20some%20half%20and%20half%20until%20almost%20boiling.%20%20While%20that%20is%20heating,%20cut%20the%20marshmallows,%20chop%20the%20pecans%20and%20get%20the%20rest%20of%20it%20ready.%20%20I%20have%20some%20skewers%20which%20I%20set%20out%20as%20well.%20%20%20I%20also%20chopped%20up%20some%20graham%20crackers%20and%20some%20chocolate%20covered%20Craisins.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDip%20the%20marshmallow%20into%20the%20hot%20milk/half%20and%20half%20or%20cream.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20dip%20or%20roll%20it%20into%20the%20chopped%20pecans,%20pressing%20the%20nuts%20into%20the%20softened%20marshmallow%20until%20it%20sticks.%20%20%20Not%20really%20that%20hard%20to%20do.%20%20%20Continuing%20until%20you're%20all%20done%20or%20you've%20done%20as%20many%20as%20you%20want%20to%20do%20at%20this%20time.%20%20%20I%20stuck%20mine%20in%20the%20freezer%20to%20firm%20up%20a%20little%20before%20taking%20them%20over%20to%20the%20gathering.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20cut%20this%20in%20half%20so%20you%20could%20see%20how%20great%20they%20looked%20inside,%20but%20I%20had%20to%20eat%20the%20evidence.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20since%20I%20had%20a%20little%20cream%20left%20over,%20and%20some%20marshmallows%20%20and%20some%20toasted%20coconut%20and%20some%20pecans,%20I%20thought%20I%20would%20throw%20them%20all%20together%20and%20make%20a%20kinda%20candy.%20%20%20They%20tasted%20good,%20but%20weren't%20all%20that%20appetizing%20looking.%20%20But%20I%20ate%20them%20anyway.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20there%20you%20have%20it,%20another%20triumph%20in%20the%20kitchen,%20just%20kidding.%20%20I%20had%20fun%20with%20this%20and%20I'm%20thinking%20you%20could%20have%20fun%20with%20this%20as%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMaybe%20tint%20the%20coconut%20green%20for%20St.%20Patty's%20Day,%20or%20multi%20colored%20pastel%20colors%20for%20Easter,%20or...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJust%20go%20grab%20you%20a%20package%20of%20marshmallows%20and%20dip%20them%20however%20you%20want.%20%20I%20still%20have%20some%20chopped%20pecans%20left,%20and%20a%20few%20more%20marshmallows,%20see%20you%20later.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
