Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Pillsbury's Best all purpose or possibly unbleached flour (see note)
  • 1 c. Graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1 tsp Soda
  • 1/2 tsp McCormick or possibly Schilling cinnamon
  • 1 c. Margarine or possibly butter, softened
  • 1 c. Orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp. Grated orange peel or possibly McCormick or possibly Schilling bits
  • 3 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. Minced nuts
  • 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar
  • 5 tsp Lowfat milk
  • 1 Tbsp. Margarine or possibly butter
  • 3/4 c. Powdered sugar
  • 1/4 c. Minced nuts

  1. I found the recipe you were requesting from Pillsbury's 28th Bake-Off
  2. Heat oven to 350 F. Using 1 Tablespoons solid shortening, generously grease and flour 12-c. fluted tube pan or possibly 10-inch tube pan (non-stick finish pan, too).
  3. (Lightly spoon flour into measuring c.; level off.) In large bowl, combine all cake ingredients except nuts; beat 3 min at medium speed. Stir in nuts. Pour into prepared pan.
  4. Bake at 350 F. for 45 to 50 min or possibly till toothpick inserted in cente comes out clean. Cold upright in pan 15 min; invert onto serving plate, cold completely.
  5. In small saucepan, heat 2 Tablespoons brown sugar, lowfat milk and butter just till melted. Remove from heat; add in powdered sugar and blend till smooth.
  6. Drizzle over cake; sprinkle with nuts. 12 to 16 servings.
  7. NOTE: If using Pillsbury's Best Self-Rising Flour, omit salt and baking pwdr and reduce soda to 1/4 tsp..
  8. High Altitude - Above 3500 Feet: Bake at 350 F. for 50 to 55 min.
