Ingredientes

  • 2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 c. Uncooked rolled oats
  • 1/3 c. Sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd cinnamon
  • 3/4 c. Unsweetened Apple Sauce, divided
  • 2 Tbsp. Margarine
  • 1/2 c. Coarsely minced cranberries
  • 1/2 c. Peeled, minced apple
  • 1/4 c. Skim lowfat milk
  • 1/4 c. Honey, plus
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey, divided

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 425F. Spray baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In large bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, baking pwdr, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon. Add in 1/2 c. of apple sauce and margarine; cut in with pastry blender or possibly fork till mix resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cranberries and apple.
  3. In small bowl, combine lowfat milk and 1/4 c. honey. Add in lowfat milk mix to flour mix; stir together till dough forms a ball.
  4. Turn out dough onto well-floured surface; knead 10 to 12 times. Pat dough into 8 inch circle. Place on prepared baking sheet. Use tip of knife to score dough into 12 wedges. In another small bowl, combine remaining 1/4 c. apple sauce and 2 Tbsp. honey. Brush mix over top of dough.
  5. Bake 12 to 15 min or possibly till lightly browned. Immediately remove from baking sheet; cold on wire rack 10 min. Serve hot or possibly cold completely.
