Ingredientes

  • 6 c. flour
  • 1 c. white raisins
  • 1 c. dark raisins
  • 1 c. currants
  • 1 quart. lowfat milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cakes yeast

Direcciones

  1. Mix yeast, 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Add in 2 tsp sugar. Set aside.Mix flour, raisins. Add in salt. Stir in yeast. Beat large eggs. Add in to flour mix. Stir well. Add in lowfat milk. Let dough stand, covered, 2 hrs. Stir down once. Let rise again. Stir.
  2. Drop by tbsp into hot oil (375 to 400 degrees). Dip spoon in lowfat milk. Dough will slide off easily.
  3. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bag. Put cooked donuts into bag. Shake gently to coat.
