:)....%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20I%20was%20in%20Kerala%20I%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Emade%20my%20first%20wedding%20cake%20for%20my%20brother%E2%80%99s%20wedding.%20Initially%20I%20was%20planning%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eto%20make%20a%20cake%20with%20fondant%20icing%20but%20due%20to%20lack%20of%20time%20I%20decided%20to%20do%20an%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOmbre%20Rose%20cake%20with%20butter%20cream%20frosting%20on%20a%20three%20tire%20cake.%20I%20know%20it%20was%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Enot%20my%20best%20attempt%20and%20I%20could%20have%20done%20it%20much%20better.%20But%20I%20am%20happy%20at%20least%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20made%20it%20amid%20of%20lot%20of%20other%20responsibilities.%20My%20cousin%20Rima%20also%20came%20to%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ehelp%20me%20and%20we%20both%20spent%20one%20whole%20night%20to%20make%20the%20cake:).....%20Then%20came%20the%20difficult%20part%20of%20storing%20the%20cake%20and%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Etransferring%20it%20to%20the%20venue....%20We%20froze%20the%20cake%20and%20then%20my%20cousin%20brother%20transported%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eit%20to%20the%20hall%20on%20time.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20cake%20I%20made%20was%20a%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Evanilla%20cake%20from%20the%20recipe%20I%20found%20from%20here.%20She%20called%20this%20cake%20as%20a%20Fondant%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIcing%20Friendly%20Cake%20as%20the%20cake%20has%20a%20firm%20body%20which%20is%20perfect%20for%20doing%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Efondant%20icing%20and%20also%20good%20for%20tiered%20cakes.%20The%20inside%20of%20the%20cake%20was%20really%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esoft%20and%20all%20who%20tasted%20it%20loved%20it%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFondant%20Icing%20Friendly%20Cake%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Epowder%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EButter%20and%20flour%20the%20edges%20of%20round%20pans,%20shaking%20out%20the%20excess%20flour.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELine%20the%20bottom%20with%20a%20round%20of%20parchment.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20350%C2%B0F%20/%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E180%C2%B0C.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMix%20all-purpose%20flour%20with%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebaking%20powder%20and%20salt%20and%20keep%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMix%20the%20butter%20and%20sugar%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ein%20a%20mixer%20bowl%20until%20light%20and%20fluffy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20the%20eggs%20one%20at%20a%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Etime,%20keep%20mixing%20until%20all%20eggs%20are%20added.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20vanilla%20essence%20or%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ealmond%20essence%20to%20the%20mix.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20flour%20mixture%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ealternately%20with%20milk,%20starting%20and%20ending%20with%20the%20flour.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20the%20batter%20into%20the%20prepared%20pans%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20bake%20about%2045%20minutes%20or%20until%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ea%20wooden%20skewer%20comes%20out%20clean.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECool%20for%20ten%20minutes%20in%20the%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Epans.%20Run%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ea%20knife%20around%20the%20edges,%20then%20turn%20the%20cake%20out%20onto%20the%20rack%20and%20let%20cool%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ecompletely%20before%20you%20start%20the%20icing.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20recipe%20makes%20around%208%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ecups%20of%20batter%20which%20will%20give%20you%20two%208%E2%80%B3%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eround%20cakes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDid%20You%20Enjoy%20this%20Recipe?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Emore%20such%20recipes%20in%20your%20inbox%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
