spoons%20of%20vegetable%20oil%20and%20heat%20until%20oil%20is%20shimmering.%20Drop%20the%20temperature%20to%20medium.%20Take%20the%20crab%20cake%20balls%20from%20the%20fridge%20and%20roll%20in%20a%20plate%20sprinkled%20with%20an%20even%20layer%20of%20panko%20crumbs,%20to%20fully%20coat.%20Place%20the%20crumb-covered%20crab%20cakes%20into%20the%20pan%20and%20gently%20flatten%20into%20patty%20shapes.%20Cook%20for%20a%20few%20minutes%20on%20each%20side,%20until%20both%20sides%20are%20browned,%20and%20the%20patty%20is%20firm%20and%20heated%20through.%20Set%20on%20a%20wire%20tray%20or%20cookie%20sheet%20lined%20with%20paper%20towels%20to%20drain.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECan%20make%20a%20few%20hours%20ahead%20and%20gently%20warm%20in%20the%20oven%20on%20its%20lowest%20temperature%20before%20serving.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
