  • 1 pc egg, beaten
  • 1/4 tsp. fine salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • cooking oil for frying
  • For the orange chicken sauce:
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/8 cup corn starch diluted in 1/8 cup water
  • 1/8 cup vinegar
  • 1/8 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup spring onions, chopped
  • orange colored food coloring (optional)
