Receta Orange Glazed Roasted Beets
Ingredientes
- 1 1/4 pounds fresh beets
- 2 T olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2/3 cup orange marmalade
- 2 T cornstarch
- 2 T honey
- 2 T rice vinegar
- 1/4 t ground cinnamon
- 1 T orange zest
- juice from 1 orange
- Orange, Beets
- Boil Beets
- In a large saucepan, cover the beets with lightly salted water
- Bring to a boil over high heat
- Lower the heat and simmer, covered for 40 to 45 minutes or until almost tender.
- Drain, removing the beets
- Cool slightly
- Peel by slipping off the skins while still warm, quarter beets
- Roast Beets
- Spread beets on a baking sheet
- Drizzle with olive oil
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper
- Roast in a 425º oven for 25-35 minutes
