Receta Orange Pecan Cookies

- In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and both of the sugars until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, orange juice, and the orange peel
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt
- Graudually add to the creamed mixture.
- Mix well
- Stir in the pecans
- Shape into two 11 1/2 inch rolls
- Wrap each in the plastic wrap
- Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight
- Unwrap the dough
- Cut into 1/4 inch slices
- Place 2 inches apart onto lightly greased baking sheets
- Bake at 400 F for 7-8 minutes or until golden brown
- Remove to wire racks to cool
