Oriental Glazed Cornish Hens

Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. teriyaki sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp grnd ginger
  • 1/8 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 1 x garlic clove chopped
  • 2 x Cornish hens - (1 1/2 lbs ea) see * Note

Direcciones

  1. Note: Four bone-in chicken breast halves may be substituted for Cornish hens. Marinate 2 hrs, and bake at 400 degrees for 40 min.
  2. Combine first 7 ingredients in a large heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag; add in hens. Seal and refrigerate8 hrs.
  3. Remove hens from marinade, reserving marinade. Tie ends of legs together, if you like, and place on a lightly greased rack in a roasting pan. Bring marinade to a boil in a small saucepan, remove from heat.
  4. Bake hens at 400 degrees for 1 hour and 15 min or possibly till done, basting occasionally with marinade. Cover hens loosely with aluminum foil after 1 hour to prevent browning, if necessary.
  5. Remove from oven; cover with foil, and let stand 5 min.
  6. This recipe yields 2 servings.
