Oven Baked Eggnog French Toast

Ingredientes

  • 1 loaf italian or possibly french bread
  • 4 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. Half & half
  • 3 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp Grnd nutmeg
  •     Powdered sugar

Direcciones

  1. Cut bread crosswise into 16 slices. Grease 2 large cookie sheets. Place bread slices on sheets. In a large bowl, beat Large eggs with half & half, sugar, vanilla and nutmeg till blended. Pour mix over bread in pan, turning slices occasionally to coat both sides and till all mix is absorbed.
  2. Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Bake 8-10 min on each side or possibly till golden. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
