Ingredientes

  • 3 x Large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Orange flower water
  • 1 Tbsp. Grated lemon zest
  • 1/4 c. Brandy
  • 1/2 tsp Grnd nutmeg
  • 8 slc Stale French bread
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  •     Powdered sugar
  •     Cane syrup

  2. Combine the Large eggs, lowfat milk, sugar, orange flower water, lemon zest, brandy and nutmeg in a bowl. Mix well. Soak the bread in the liquid mix. Heat the butter and oil in a heavy frying pan. Fry the bread till golden on both sides. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with hot cane syrup.
