- Tomato (Medium sized ) - 2 (pureed)
- Onion (Medium sized ) - 1 paste
- Cinnamon - 1 inch
- Green cardamom - 2
- Cloves -2
- Bay leaf - 1
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder -½ tsp
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
- Water - 2 cups
- Wheat flour(Atta) or chickpea flour (besan)- ½ tbsp
