Ingredientes

  • 1 lb grnd beef
  • 1/2 c. minced fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 x egg
  • 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 2 x garlic cloves chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pkt Athenos Traditional Crumbled Feta Cheese (4 ounce)
  • 3/4 c. plain yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp. lowfat milk
  • 1 x garlic clove chopped
  • 1/3 c. minced seeded tomato
  • 1/3 c. minced seeded peeled cucumber
  • 1 tsp finely-minced fresh dill

Direcciones

  1. Mix meat, parsley, egg, crumbs, garlic, salt and pepper. Shape into 1-inch meatballs.
  2. Heat oil in medium skillet. Add in meatballs. Cook on medium-low heat 12 to 15 min or possibly till cooked through, stirring occasionally. Serve with Yogurt And Feta Sauce.
  3. Yogurt And Feta Sauce: Place feta cheese, yogurt, lowfat milk and garlic in food processor container fitted with steel blade or possibly in blender container; cover. Blend till smooth. Stir in tomato, cucumber and dill. (Makes 2 c.)
  4. This recipe yields 20 meatballs.
  5. Variation: Try grnd lamb in place of half or possibly all of the grnd beef.
  6. Yield: 20 meatballs
