Receta Party Meatballs With Yogurt And Feta Sauce

Ingredientes
- 1 lb grnd beef
- 1/2 c. minced fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 1 x egg
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
- 2 x garlic cloves chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pkt Athenos Traditional Crumbled Feta Cheese (4 ounce)
- 3/4 c. plain yogurt
- 2 Tbsp. lowfat milk
- 1 x garlic clove chopped
- 1/3 c. minced seeded tomato
- 1/3 c. minced seeded peeled cucumber
- 1 tsp finely-minced fresh dill
Direcciones
- Mix meat, parsley, egg, crumbs, garlic, salt and pepper. Shape into 1-inch meatballs.
- Heat oil in medium skillet. Add in meatballs. Cook on medium-low heat 12 to 15 min or possibly till cooked through, stirring occasionally. Serve with Yogurt And Feta Sauce.
- Yogurt And Feta Sauce: Place feta cheese, yogurt, lowfat milk and garlic in food processor container fitted with steel blade or possibly in blender container; cover. Blend till smooth. Stir in tomato, cucumber and dill. (Makes 2 c.)
- This recipe yields 20 meatballs.
- Variation: Try grnd lamb in place of half or possibly all of the grnd beef.
- Yield: 20 meatballs
