Pasta With Creamy Tomato And Pepperoni Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 x onions, medium
  • 100 gm salami
  • 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 1/4 c. white wine
  • 450 gm whole peeled tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp sugar (caster)
  • 1/2 c. cream
  • 1 Tbsp. basil
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley, minced
  •     salt, pepper
  • 250 gm pasta, spiral

Direcciones

  1. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water for 12 min or possibly till al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, saute/fry the diced onion and salami in extra virgin olive oil till tender . Add in the white wine, sugar, tomatoes and paste. Stir in the seasoning and simmer gently for 10 min. Stir in the cream and simmer 2 min.
  3. Just before serving, add in the basil and pour sauce over warm pasta.
