Pasticito

This is Greek Lasagna, hearty and flavorful

Ingredientes

  • 1 Lb. Ground Beef
  • 1 Large Chopped onion
  • 2 Cloves garlic chopped
  • 2 Tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 Small can tomato paste
  • 1 Can chopped tomatoes
  • 2 Tsp. Oregano
  • 1 Cup water
  • 1 Cube butter
  • 1 Lb. Penna Pasta noodles
  • 1 Cup grated Kaseri or Parmesan Cheese
  • Cream Topping
  • 2 Cubes butter
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 Tsp. Nutmeg
  • 3 Egg
  • 1 Qt. Warm milk

Direcciones

  1. Place cube butter in large skillet, and place chopped onions in pan saute, then add ground beef and brown
  2. Add garlic, oregano, cinnamon and stir in
  3. Add tomato paste, chopped tomatoes, oregano and water allow to simmer
  4. Boil noodles until tender, scoop into sauce and blend well
  5. Pour into a oblong oven proof pan,
  6. Sprinkle grated cheese over the noodle mixture
  7. In another sauce pan melt butter add flour and make a Roux
  8. Add warm milk and nutmeg
  9. When thickened add beaten eggs, when thick pour over noodle mixture and place in a 425 oven for 1 hour until hot and bubbly
