%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20guess%20we%20kind%20of%20had%20a%20soda%20shop%20when%20I%20was%20a%20teenager.%20%20It%20was%20the%20old%20Shaker%20Restaurant%20in%20Middleton,%20Nova%20Scotia,%20Canada.%20%20It%20was%20on%20the%20main%20street%20in%20the%20middle%20of%20town,%20right%20next%20to%20the%20Capital%20Movie%20Theatre.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20was%20the%20place%20to%20congregate%20after%20school,%20on%20the%20weekends,%20etc.%20%20It%20was%20called%20the%20Shaker%20restaurant%20because%20the%20whole%20wall%20behind%20the%20ice%20cream%20counter%20was%20filled%20with%20shelves%20holding%20the%20largest%20collection%20of%20salt%20and%20pepper%20shakers%20anyone%20had%20ever%20seen.%20Their%20main%20waitress%20looked%20like%20someone%20from%20the%201940's,%20right%20down%20to%20her%20Victory%20Rolls.%20%20I%20thought%20she%20was%20rather%20cool.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20most%20I%20could%20ever%20afford%20to%20get%20there%20was%20a%20coke%20and%20sometimes%20a%20friend%20and%20I%20would%20share%20a%20plate%20of%20chips.%20My%20allowance%20was%20not%20very%20much,%20and%20if%20I%20wanted%20to%20be%20able%20to%20afford%20to%20go%20to%20a%20movie%20or%20to%20a%20school%20dance,%20it%20didn't%20allow%20for%20a%20lot%20of%20other%20things.%20%20The%20Shaker%20Restaurant%20was%20the%20place%20to%20see%20and%20be%20seen%20however.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20has%20been%20a%20Chinese%20Restaurant%20for%20at%20least%2035%20years%20now%20and%20the%20movie%20theatre%20is%20no%20more%20as%20well.%20Its%20a%20diner/pub,%20called%20what%20else%20but%20%20.%20.%20.%20%20The%20Capital.%20%20They%20serve%20free%20Christmas%20Dinners%20on%20Christmas%20Day%20for%20those%20on%20low%20incomes%20and%20homeless%20people.%20My%20daughter%20loves%20to%20go%20there%20and%20celebrate%20birthdays%20with%20her%20friends.%20%20I,%20myself,%20have%20never%20eaten%20there.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnyways,%20back%20to%20this%20pie!%20%20This%20is%20one%20heck%20of%20a%20gorgeous%20dessert%20and%20a%20real%20blue%20moon%20treat.%20%20Its%20a%20huge%20peanut%20butter%20cookie%20that%20%20is%20stogged%20full%20of%20semi%20sweet%20chocolate%20chunks%20and%20baked%20in%20a%20skillet.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIncredibly%20edibly%20moreish%20on%20its%20own%20of%20course,%20but%20why%20stop%20there.%20%20%20Topped%20with%20ice%20cream%20and%20your%20favourite%20toppings%20it%20becomes%20the%20ultimate%20dessert!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToday%20I%20used%20Clotted%20Cream%20Vanilla%20Bean%20Ice%20cream%20and%20running%20with%20the%20peanut%20butter%20flavour%20and%20my%20North%20America%20spirit,%20warmed%20Bonne%20Maman%20Strawberry%20Conserve%20.%20.%20%20.%20only%20on%20half%20the%20ice%20cream.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20other%20half%20of%20the%20ice%20cream%20was%20topped%20with%20a%20drizzle%20of%20warmed%20Bonne%20Maman%20Hazelnut%20&%20Chocolate%20Caramel%20spread%20%20.%20.%20.%20%20in%20for%20a%20penny%20in%20for%20a%20pound!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20sprinkled%20some%20chopped%20dry%20roasted%20peanuts%20on%20top%20because%20they%20are%20sundaes%20after%20all%20.%20.%20.%20%20and%20what's%20a%20sundae%20without%20some%20chopped%20nuts!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYou%20could%20of%20course%20do%20just%20strawberry%20jam%20.%20.%20.%20%20or%20just%20caramel%20sauce%20%20.%20.%20.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOr%20you%20could%20just%20use%20a%20hot%20fudge%20sundae%20sauce%20.%20.%20.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20can%20guarantee%20whatever%20you%20choose%20to%20top%20this%20with,%20you%20are%20going%20to%20definitely%20ENJOY%20this%20immensely.%20%20Trust%20me%20on%20this.%20%20Unless%20you%20don't%20like%20peanut%20butter%20that%20is,%20and%20I,%20for%20the%20life%20of%20me%20can't%20understand%20how%20anyone%20wouldn't%20love%20peanut%20butter,%20especially%20in%20cookie%20form!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYield:%208%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAuthor:%20Marie%20Rayner%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWith%20ImageWithout%20Image%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPeanut%20Butter%20Chocolate%20Chunk%20Cookie%20Sundae%20Pie%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYour%20favourite%20cookie%20in%20a%20pie,%20%20served%20warm%20and%20topped%20with%20vanilla%20bean%20ice%20cream%20along%20with%20your%20favourie%20toppings.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20the%20cookie%20pie:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EInstructions:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHow%20to%20cook%20Peanut%20Butter%20Chocolate%20Chunk%20Cookie%20Sundae%20Pie%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20the%20oven%20to%20180*C/350*F/gas%20mark%204.%20%20Butter%20a%2010-inch%20oven%20proof%20skillet.%20%20Set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECream%20together%20the%20butter,%20both%20sugars%20and%20the%20peanut%20butter%20until%20light%20and%20fluffy.%20%20Beat%20in%20the%20egg%20and%20vanilla.%20Sift%20together%20the%20flour%20and%20soda.%20%20Add%20to%20the%20creamed%20mixure%20and%20stir%20in%20until%20well%20combined.%20Stir%20in%20the%20%20chocolate%20chunks.%20%20Press%20into%20the%20prepared%20skillet.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20in%20the%20preheated%20oven%20for%2025%20to%2030%20minutes%20until%20golden%20brown%20and%20set.%20%20Remove%20from%20the%20oven%20and%20let%20cool%20in%20the%20pan%20for%2010%20minutes%20before%20cuttin
