.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHowever,%20in%20the%20last%20days%20of%20my%20pregnancy,%20I%20found%20myself%20wanting%20more%20sweets.%20And%20by%20sweets,%20I%20don't%20mean%20sickeningly%20sweet%20pastries%20and%20candy,%20but%20good,%20homemade%20sweets%20using%20the%20ingredients%20I%20already%20love,%20like%20dark%20chocolate.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOne%20such%20homemade%20goodie%20that%20I%20found%20I%20could%20not%20get%20enough%20of%20was%20my%20peanut%20butter%20dark%20chocolate%20chip%20cookies.%20Perhaps%20it's%20because%20they%20balance%20savory%20(with%20the%20peanut%20butter)%20and%20sweet.%20Or%20perhaps%20it%20is%20just%20because%20they%20are%20so%20darn%20good!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20made%20so%20many%20of%20these%20cookies%20that%20I%20froze%20a%20whole%20bunch,%20and%20found%20that%20they%20tasted%20even%20better%20straight%20out%20of%20the%20freezer!%20I%20do%20love%20frozen%20cookies%20in%20general,%20but%20these%20were%20absolutely%20to%20die%20for!%20I%20ended%20up%20making%20several%20batches%20in%20the%20last%20couple%20of%20weeks%20of%20my%20pregnancy%20just%20to%20satisfy%20my%20craving!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow,%20one%20month%20after%20giving%20birth,%20despite%20not%20craving%20sweets%20like%20I%20did%20in%20those%20last%20few%20weeks,%20these%20cookies%20still%20satisfy%20that%20occasional%20need%20for%20sugar%20without%20being%20too%20sweet.%20They%20are%20definitely%20a%20staple%20in%20my%20freezer%20from%20now%20on!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPeanut%20Butter%20Dark%20Chocolate%20Chip%20Cookies%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMakes%202%20dozen%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20375%20degrees.%20Line%20baking%20sheets%20and%20set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECream%20together%20brown%20sugar%20and%20butter.%20Beat%20in%20peanut%20butter,%20egg,%20and%20vanilla.%20Then%20mix%20in%20the%20flour,%20baking%20soda,%20powder%20and%20salt.%20Stir%20in%20the%20chocolate%20chips.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EForm%20dough%20into%20balls%20about%201%201/2%20inches%20in%20diameter.%20Place%20on%20a%20lined%20cookie%20sheet%20and%20press%20lightly%20with%20your%20hand%20to%20form%20thick%20disks.%20Sprinkle%20each%20with%20a%20little%20granulated%20sugar%20or%20a%20sprinkle%20of%20sea%20salt%20(both%20optional).%20Bake%20for%2010-12%20minutes%20until%20golden%20brown.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
